I’ve seen it happen time and time again over the past several months. A buyer has their heart set on a home only to find out when touring the home, there are already 4 offers on it. We rush to get our offer in, and a good offer at that, only to be met with a multiple seller counter. We put in our ‘best and final’ but lose out to all cash offers well above list price or waived appraisals. “Don’t get discouraged. We’re going to keep plugging away together and get your home,” I say. We rinse and repeat a few times and do get an accepted offer and move into escrow after some patience and persistence.
